The US National Federation of Republican Assemblies (NFRA) has sparked controversy by citing the infamous 1857 Dred Scott Supreme Court ruling to argue that US Vice President Kamala Harris is ineligible to run for president. The NFRA claims that Harris, along with Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy, does not meet the “natural-born citizen” requirement outlined in the US Constitution
